Comorbid Anxiety

 Young Woman Contemplating

Comorbid anxiety refers to the presence of anxiety disorders alongside other mental health conditions, such as depression.

This means that a person experiences symptoms of anxiety in addition to another disorder, making their overall condition more complex and challenging to treat.

TMS Therapy can reduce the symptoms of comorbid anxiety. TMS targets the brain regions involved in mood regulation and anxiety. By stimulating these areas, TMS can help reduce anxiety symptoms and improve overall mood.

The total treatment time is 20-30 sessions in total, once a day, five times per week. Minimal side effects such as a mild headache or scalp discomfort which resolves quickly.

Quality of life is significantly improved allowing you to be yourself again.

If you or a loved one is dealing with comorbid anxiety and other mental health challenges, TMS therapy might be a suitable option. Consult with your psychiatrist to learn more about how TMS can help you on your journey to better mental health.
